

Even though their most recent trip to Nar Shaddaa included some bloodshed, it still was not as traumatic as Luke's original trip to the Smuggler's Moon.


While on the Falcon, Threepio informed Luke that the Rebel Fleet just received a message from someone claiming to have possession of Han Solo. Luke was able to use his lightsaber and force powers to create an exit route for the Rebels to reach the Millenium Falcon. The Rebels rejected Kanji's demands which led to a firefight just outside of the arena. They tell Luke and the gang that they are now the property of the Hutts of Nar Kanji. This is all too familiar to Luke, as he became a possession of a Hutt during his last visit to Nar Shaddaa.

The Kanji caught wind of Luke asking about Boba and were mad that Fett had killed their previous champion. Luckily, Chewbacca has a friend on the moon who directs their attention to the arena where Boba Fett was seen competing in War of the Bounty Hunters Alpha by Soule, Steve McNiven, Laura Martin and Travis Lanham. Luke was aware of the dangers that lurk on the Smuggler's Moon and warned Chewie that they should be as quick as possible. Star Wars #13 depicts Luke's return trip to Nar Shaddaa as he searches for Solo. Luke is more than a little cautious since he hopes this trip progresses more smoothly than his last trip to the Smuggler's Moon. Luke and Chewbacca just got word that Boba Fett was recently seen on one of the most dangerous planets in the Star Wars universe, Nar Shaddaa. Among those hunting is none other than Han's closest friends. Han Solo has been frozen in carbonite and a number of interested parties are on the hunt for Boba Fett so that they can claim Solo's body for their own.
